On their websites it says single set trigger is available. Has anyone tried this set-up? Does anyone know if they are available as a replacement trigger?

I believe that you can purchase the triggers from Sako and installation should be easy for a competant rifle tech :?
I don't know why you would want a single set though... the standard triggers on these rifles are outstanding

There is a set trigger available for the T3 Tactical and the TRGs I would not be surprised if they are interchangeable, but Stoegers parts guru does not know for sure, the cost is near $500.00 they tell me and to order 1 appears to take over a year. I have had 1 on oder for a TRG for that time.
Depending on what model Sako you have, Canjar makes a really nice single set that is basically a drop in. Again pricey and long wait time, but nice addition to the rifle, I have several in my own rifles and would not be without 1

1899, I've got my 695 trigger down to 2.1 lbs, and still have a bit to go if needed.
Ask John Y Canuck what he thought of it...

You may be able to get it down to a managable weight for offhand shooting rather than replacing it IMHO.
Just a thought.

Darn tootin..Cut a shim out of a pop can,put it under the main bolt that holds trigger on.If that aint light enough try two shims...I aint kiddin

That is nice for the regular trigger, but the weight of a set trigger, at maybe 1.5 or 2 oz. would be unsafe for regular hunting. I wasn't complaining about the regular trigger, it is really nice. Just that on their websites it says "single set trigger as an opyion", so I thought if the option isn't that expensive then why not?

Yeah, I know what your saying, but from the sounds of it, they're in the ballpark of 500.00 per Alberta Tactical Rifle. Pretty expensive option on the part of sako/Tikka. But I guess in some cases, money well spent.

There is no way I'd spend $500 on it. Seems kind of excessive considering you can get an entire T3 light for under $700. :?

I just saw a brand new Tikka with the trigger broken right off flush with the bottom of the assembly. Guy said he just went to fire it and it broke off without any effort at all. Wonder what gives here? That sounds like an A-bolt trigger, not a Tikka/Sako offering. EE.
