Tikka Arctic, Who has them in stock?

Guns are like cars, some people like a civic, others want a Mercedes or ferrari.....they both get you from place to place just the same. You can justify what you buy to hunt with however you want, but obv high priced rifles still sell for hunting or nobody would bother producing them if we were all fine with the cheapest thing available

If you take a Civic, paint it red, put a fart can on it and jack up the price it still won't be a Ferrari. This is arguably what Tikka did with the Arctic, when you compare it to the CTR.

Although I agree with your statement, I don't think it applies here.

I don't share your opinion, both the part about comparing a CTR with a Civic as a starting point and also about the dress up. But that's fine, the Arctic was always a love it or hate it rifle. We're on different sides of that fence doesn't mean we can't have what we like and go shoot just the same.

FWIW, the Arctic has a different trigger group and safety than the CTR, different steel, and of course the sights (which I think are fantastic for irons) and laminate adjustable length stock. I would argue it's more a Sako branded as a Tikka than a CTR with a colored stock and sights.

Expensive? Yeah. But they're selling out everywhere so it can't be totally wrong. If you're just going to put a scope on it and don't care too much for the other stuff, sure, go buy a CTR, awesome rifle as well.
