Tikka atlasworxs dbm

Has anyone ran one of these on their tikkas before? I'm thinking about getting the long action since my coal is 3.600" so wouldn't be much of a change for it to fit in a mag.
 
the red snake tactical stuff lets ya run a 3.715 AICS mag
will have a few of those in the shop next week rolling in from the states for a build if ya wanna stop in and have a look at one
 
I might take you up on that, I was looking at those too but liked the longer mag release, the Hawkins dbm I had was similar looking to the redsnake but the lever was real stiff.
 
I installed an Atlasworx DBM on my wife's Tikka in a boyd's stock. Had to inlet/bed the stock for it, which wasn't too bad. Go slow, you can always take more material off.

I would say the 'hardest' part is getting the distance of the DBM to the action correct for it to feed. Atlasworx doesn't have a 'spec' for this........which personally strikes me as odd, but whatevs. They include 2 different length mag releases in the kit.

On the atlasworx, sometimes you have to shorten the length of the magazine catch by removing it and filing off a few thou. I find its kind of nice that you can get the magazine lips nice and close to the bottom of the receiver.
