CZ makes a 550 in 9.3x62mm.
That's the factory rifle I'd want to buy in that caliber.
Ya, as Gunslinger mentioned CZ is now making the 550 Carbine, which has definitely caught my eye. Also brought to my attention, Ruger is now
chambering their M77 African in 9.3x62, which is a real beauty and I'd like to see Ruger do the same in the Alaskan.
So, Ben Hunchak, a real big draw for the 9.3x62 is that a lot more rifle makers are chambering for the 9.3x62 then there are the 35 Whelen and there isn't
that much of a difference in the cost of reloading components. Also, with one load: 286 gr 9.3mm @ 2360 fps you can realistically expect to take down any
critter on this continent out to 300 yds. And I find that very appealing.
As a final note, I am trying my level best to keep those poor, impoverished rifle and ammo manufacturer from going to bed hungry every night.
I thought you, above all others, would appreciate such noble intentions.
