Just a quick update on this. First I tried all I can but this part is too hard to have material removed. I also bought a diamond file but it did not work well at all. but all of a sudden I received the long action stop from a member here. I was quite impressed that someone would help me out without asking anything in return but it was much appreciated because at this point my excellent filing technique has ruined the short stop.
