I just bought a tikka tactical in 223 want to reload the 80.5 Berbers and 75 a max but when I seat them to the lands they are to long for the clip what is a good modification to the follower clip?
Pics or video would be nice

Not sure where you are located, but I have a similar rifler and bought this:

I'm in BC, close to border, so was easy to get delivered across the line, not sure if they
will ship to Canada?

There was a seller in Calgary who listed some on the EE here, but when I PM'd him, he
never replied.

The lil device above works absolutely perfect.

Met a guy at range who also had same gun, and he just pushed the back side of the follower down
to angle front up for a temp solution....said is somewhat worked, but he wishes he had the bob sled.

That's for if you want to only use it as a single shot I would like to modify the clip so I can load several rounds

Sorry, thought that's what you wanted.

Not sure about modding the entire clip, although I have seen you tube vids on guys doing it......you don't get a second chance if you screw up, haha.

The other option, albeit a lot more $$$, is to change the bottom metal to accept the AICS clips, which do not have the same length restriction.

This one, maybe you're already familair --> http://www.coretacsolutions.com/products_AW_TIKKA_SA_DBM_AL.htm

First I've heard of Tikkas using clips. But, I bought a few Grizzly magazines from Safari Arms in Australia. They're 10 round .223 mags, and you can load long bullets way out there and still have them fit in the magazine. I did modify my factory mag like the guy on the 24 hour campfire thread, but it was a pain.

I'm locked out of Facebook right now so can't check, but there is an American place called Mountain Tactical ( I think?) that is almost done a run of aluminum mags for Tikkas.

Yes, same place I bought my lil gadget for single shot using longer C.O.A.L standard mag:

$50USD......but that damn ITAR issue.
