Tikka laminated T3 vs T3x.

What are the differences in the two laminated stocks. Stippling looks different between them...and I see the T3x version has a small circle of sorts in the area below where the front scope base is.... What's that? Thanks!
 
As far as laminated stocks go, would you suggest the original version or the newer version? Original seems a bit better looking...
 
As far as accuracy and weight are there differences between the two? Would the T3x be considered an upgrade?
 
T3X also has a new stock, adjustable pistol grip on some and a foam insert to get rid of the hollow sound from the synthetic stock.

Not sure about weight difference but I'd be hard pressed to get much more accurate than my T3 LS in .270. It shoots about 1/2 MOA with Federal Fusion 130gr. The key differences are the steel recoil lug, larger ejection port, and steel bolt shroud all added to the T3x. Just decide how much those things mean to you.
