did you spoke with someone from Warne? i have a contact if you need. it wont change what i think about the product but they send me a new one set that i didnt keep of course.

Never bedded my tikka but its an old tack driver with a .700 barrel
It's shot straight since the day I bought it .
It's taken 2-3 animals every year for the last 15 years and a lot of them at very long range
So I would suggest to learn your rifle shoot 3 rounds see how it groups
Do this in different weather know what it is going to do
If it shoots great groups in 3-5 shot clusters in cold and warm temp leave it alone .
Mine likes Remington express and hates federal
Find a round and grain and stay with it till you have put 4-500 rounds through it

I am satisfied with the accuracy without bedding, and have read 2 reports where bedding made no accuracy improvement, both were magnums.
I have mounted Talley Lightweights on both of my Tikkas; the bonus is no ring marks on my scopes from them.
I replaced the factory aluminum recoil lugs with Sterk Stainless Steel recoil lugs from Hinterland Shooting Supplies in Australia. The .243 probably doesn't need one, but the 7RM had dented the aluminum lug after 100 rounds.
I removed the bolt shrouds, sanded the sharp edge off and rounded the corners where it cracks on the lower inside corners. They will not crack now. Easy fix.
