Do the Tikka T3's have a short bolt throw similar to the Browning A-X bolts ?

They don't turn down 90 degrees like most 2 lug actions, about 70 degrees.

tikka's are a 70 degree throw and I believe long action only.

Bolt throw is determined by the bolt stop. Long bolt stop for short cartridges and short stop for '06 length cartridges. All T3s have the same receiver, but bolt throws vary according to cartridge.

I find the tikka bolt lift to be easier than x-bolt as well. I don't think the lift in degrees between 60 and 70 is all that noticeable - but the stiffness is.
