tikka rifles

I have SS T3 Lites in 300 wsm and 338 wm, and my daughter has the same in 300 wsm. They all cloverleaf of the sandbags at 100 yds with any factory ammo. Slightly different points of impact with different loads, but cloverleaf just the same.

On big difference is that my daughter is only 4'10", so I have shortened all of her stocks to 12 1/4" LOP and the barrels on her rifles range from 18-20" depending on the rifle. This makes for much better balance for her. Her T3 300 wsm barrel has been shortened to 18 1/2", the same as her Savage 16's in 300 wsm and 308, and they all shoot great.

I myself am over 6', but I prefer a carbine barrel, so most of my rifles, including my T3's are shortened to 20". The loss in velocity is less than 100 fps, but I have found with most that the accuracy is actually a little better. More importantly, is the fact that they carry and point so much nicer - in my humble opinion.

Ultimately T3 Lite's are a wonderful rifle to carry, they have smooth actions, and great adjustable triggers (ours are about 2 3/4 lbs). Not cheap, but a great bang for the buck!

Had a Tikka T3 lite in 30-06 for about a year,picked up a mint condition little bro for it today, T3 lite .223 with a 1 in 8 twist:D

Why would it not be capable?

Huntsman Not much of a recoil lug would be my 1st guess. But U never know with today's technology [QUOTE said:
How many have you had fail?

None....of course though I shoot a 6.5 Swede not .338 Win mag. What is it you want to hear?

I have a t3 stainless 30-06 and a 7mm HB varmint stainless.....the 7mm varmint is really really really accurate once you find a load...and I can't even shoot that well.....makes me wonder if anybody has used these for competition shooting?
