Anyone have experience shooting with the Tikka & Sako Battue open sights?
Curious if those who have used them feel they are just as useful as an optic for close range big game hunting.
Considering one of the Tikka/Sako rifles with these open sights and if they work as advertised may be able to forgo the expense of mounting an optic. Essentially all of my shooting would be under 100 meters in the hunting application I have in mind for the rifle.
