I had called Stoeger with basically the same question. They won’t see you a bolt without the action and barrel being sent to them for head spacing. Tikkas are great because the actions are all the same (other that a short throw vs long throw bolt stop) and the tolerances are good enough for pre-fits. Buy a used T3/T3X hunting rifle for under 1000$, sell the stock, mag and barrel, and if you’re lucky, you end up with an excellent action and very good trigger for not much more than 500$ (depending on whether you went with a stainless receiver or not).
