Having a T3x that I greatly enjoy, thoughts turn as they will to adding a matching T1x.
First impulse is to hunt for one in the matching stock, but being that particular makes the search a bit more extensive and costly.
But I've heard it suggested that the stocks are interchangeable, so just grab any T1x and swap either barreled action into the T3x stock and take it shooting. Which leads to my question: is there any loss of accuracy or bedding from doing this, or do all Tikkas fit the same way repeatably? And if anyone is already doing this, do you still consider it an easy task or is it a PITA?
Also thinking this might be a way to acquire flexibility for the T3x, if I look for a T1x in something very different so either rifle can ride a target stock or a field stock.
