My CZ 527 in .223 is the same, 5 round mag and I only ever put 4 in it to get the 5th in you almost need a hammer and it never feeds that one properly, I just consider it a 4 round mag and carry on with life, because the gun shoots so good the mag is but a minor inconvenience.
