I was going to post this in the long Tikka T1X thread but perhaps it may be easier to find here on its own

Some bits of information about the T1X. Perhaps it's been covered previously in the long thread here

The muzzle diameter of the 20 barrel model is 18.5mm (approximately .728 inches).
The barreled action including the bolt weighs 1.77 kg (or about 3.9 pounds).
The OEM synthetic stock weighs about 0.8 kg (or about 1.75 lbs)
The hole spacing on top of the receiver is 22mm between each pair.
The top of the dovetails are 10.85mm apart. This is very close to those of Anschutz, but other German dovetails vary in width. (The Tikka dovetail is probably the same size as those on Sako Quad and Finnfire II rifles, all of which of course are made in Finland.)
The out-of-the-box trigger pull on my rifle varied between 3 lbs 15 ounces and 4 lbs 5 ounces. More use may cause it to be more consistent. It is relatively easy to lighten the trigger pull with a spring change.

The bolt has a number matching the serial number on the receiver.

The threaded muzzle is 1/2-28 UNEF. The action screws are M6X1.

Some trigger info:

The factory spring at it's heaviest, had a trigger pull over 4 lbs. 2 oz. With the adjustment screw out until it contacted the trigger housing holding bolt, it had an average trigger pull of 1 lb. 13 oz. I tried a lighter spring for a Finnfire II, which appears to have the same trigger. With the adjustment screw out as far as it could go, the lightest trigger pull was 1 lb 6 oz. I then tried an even lighter spring and achieved a 1 lb 5 oz. pull weight but there was no tension on the trigger blade when the rifle wasn't cocked and it could "rattle" a bit . I tried the trigger without a spring and the results were exactly the same as with the lightest spring and again the trigger blade was loose. It might be that Tikka (Sako) has modified the trigger so that it can only go so low. In any case, there may not be a great change that can be achieved by swapping the original spring for a lighter one.

Nice info but I’d add that out of the box there is plenty of adjustment to try before replacing the spring. I have YoDave springs in 3 Tikkas but after adjusting my T1x as low as possible I don’t want it any lighter. If a range only rifle I might but for hunting it’s almost too light as it is!
I’m not trying to steal your thunder, but I’d lso add that wood stocks require a bit of material to be removed for the T1x mag well, but plastic Tikka stocks don’t. Also most aftermarket stocks don’t seem to be drop ins either, except I’ve hear the GGS berserk is.

Ring/scope combos would be nice too. I have 0.39” B-square 11mm dovetail rings (replacing them with Burris sig med height at 0.40”) rings with a Leupold 3-9x with a 33mm adjustable objective and I have plenty of room over the barrel and a slightly high but decent cheek weld with the original stock, although it’s best with the varmint stock

After describing the difference between the factory spring and lighter ones, that was my conclusion:
