Hey guys-picked-up a T1X yesterday, feels better than Christmas morning. :) (20", 22LR) Scope is en route, but I'm in no panic. I like to savour every step of the process, I find that half the fun. lol Just wondering how you guys have yours rigged but more importantly, who in Canada is carrying some of the goodies that fit these rifles? For sure, I'll be in touch with Yo Dave about a trigger spring, but like my T3x, the only thing that really bugs me is the bolt shroud. lol On this gun, the thread protector doesn't seem appropriate for a gun in this price range, so I'd like to replace it with something aluminum at least, if not steel. I'd prefer not to put a muzzle device on, even though I like the look of some of those linear brakes.

Anyhow, I don't see load testing even starting until about mid-September when the work/life balance is under control a bit better, so I have a window of time to make some affordable improvements.

Any/all input welcome.

Cheers.

I haven't done much to mine. Just threw it in a MDT ACC chassis immediately and put one of my AR15 muzzle breaks on.

All I did with mine was put an A2 style flash hider on it and a Leupold VX-1 2-7. The flash hider was more of a way to have a semi permanent, cool looking thread protector than anything else. Works good the way it is but one day I may get it rebarelled with a lighter profile tube on it. It'd be just an all around smoother carrying, handier rifle if the barrel lost a pound or so.

Congratulations on buying a T1X, as I have stated before on here, I love mine. What scope are you putting on it?

I would shoot it before you order a bunch of stuff, the trigger adjustment is really easy and I am more than satisfied with the factory trigger where I currently have it set. I added a DIP picatinny tail, and the DIP muzzle device as I didn't like the plastic thread cover either. I have stuck with the factory stock thus far but added the T3 vertical grip and I like it.

If you don't want a muzzle device, as mentioned above, Nordic Marksman has Anschutz thread protectors with the correct thread pitch.

I dropped mine into a T3 Hunter walnut stock before I fired the first shot from it.
Then a year later it got fitted with peep sights, front and rear.
The trigger was excellent, even better with a lighter spring.

CHeck out kinneys shooting supply for DIP t1x accessories. I got the oversized knob from them (super cheap shipping to Canada as well), and also waiting for the 5 round mag bases to come back in stock.

I watched him shoot a small Marmot at just over 100 yards with that rifle, while standing and off a shooting stick.

He used a range finder and adjusted the elevation turret by the amount of clicks his cell phone app suggested and took it out cleanly with one shot.

Great shot to see Paul.

The butterhorns the lady gave us for ridding her of several dozen pest that had burrowed under every building on the property and invaded the ceilings of the barns, were some of the best I've had.

Here is mine, might install IBI barrel in the near future.

T1x barreled action
KRG Bravo chassis in Sako green
Trijicon 5-20x50mm scope
Fake Socom AR15 Suppressor

I fitted this, took less than 2 mins and now I get perfect cheek weld with my scope. They ship to canada.

Those are nice! I'm going to have to look into getting one!

What's that on the end of the muzzle? Does it help with accuracy or is it supposed to help with something else?

Looks. Maybe balance too. But, really, looks.

Man I can't wait for the lefty t1x to land!
