Tikka t3 6.5x55 help me pick a chassis! !!!

I really wanted a whiskey 3 chassis for my stainless varmit t3 but they wont fit my long action, i spoke to someone from the company directly: ( anyways what are my other options? Looking for something quality.

Currently I'm waiting on MDT to come out with their magazine for this caliber using their new HS3 stock- for the same rifle as yours.
They said it should be available by the end of the month.

I just found out about this. It is the one i will be buying, can't decide on magpul prs or the mdt skeleton, , leaning towards the skeleton. Already talked to the rep on here, very nice person. Seems like a good company, they will have my business! I was thinking about the cadex but cant justify putting a 1000 gun in a 2000+ chasis. Unless im disappointed with the quality or feel of the mdt... in which case il sell it and go with the cadex. I had the cadex on a pgw lrt-3 50.. was nice but was always playing with the lock that keeps the stock in the locked open position, sometimes it just didn't want to stay locked and would try to fold on me while shooting.
 
I have been pondering a tikka and putting it in a chassis like the MDT LSS but what is stopping me is the issue of weight. If there is no reduction in weight I am not interested.

If anyone has weights of their tikka before and after a MDT LSS I would be happy to hear the results, and also what model tikka did you start with?

I will be getting the HS3,.. but i will be able to get you the before and after weights.

I've started with a Tikka T3 Stainless Varmint but weight reduction or meeting a weight limit restriction is not an immediate concern of mine- replacing the extremely cheap plastic stock is. I like the quality of the T3 but the Varmint stock is a joke IMO...I like the idea of the HS3 on the merits of its modularity over a traditional stock concept. But it will all hinge on the quality and availability of their pending magazine.
So here's hoping it turns out as good as their other products :)
