Tikka t3 action warped?

Hello,

Looking to get other thoughts on the below video. This is driving my OCD mad. I was trying to plumb the top of my action for a new scope and was having issues keeping it in place. I then found when sliding the level across the top I was getting different readings front to back. To me it looks like the top of the action is warped for lack of better terms. Should I be pushing back with manufacturer or am i over thinking it.

You are not using a calibrated measuring device under strictly controlled conditions. There will be variations in test results.

Also, consider all the other variables that can and will be in play by the time you pull the trigger. Factory ammo, handloads, proper shooting form, gun rest at the range, wind, temp, shooter error and the dreaded boogy man.

You need to learn how to just have fun.

Action isn't warped, top might have a little bit of milling variation, the rear and front where you would mount a 2 piece base is pretty even, one piece base would not show any variation.
Scope it and shoot it and get back to us.

I have mounted scopes on many Tikka’s and your video shows typical Conditions, and maybe better than some, nothing to worry about.

wow over thinking lack of knowledge and experience
to much internet
good luck with contacting tikka and telling the number one rifle builder in the world that there rifle is infierior besides your system for calibration is beyond crude
everything misted be zeroed in a lathe or some other machine where a true zero can be achieved

If you want to be anal about it... You need to put flat stock across the length of the mount then run your level.. I'm like you in so many ways... But your fine.... Remember the price point too...
