A good alternative for the Tikka T3 AICS.

Roedale Precision RCS II Chassis from Germany weight 2.1 Kg.

Will fit .223 to .308, .260, WSM etc. Uses AICS magazines and fitted with Viper Skins.

750€ It's a 1.5 AT but a kit to make it 2.0 (folding) is on the work (easy to swap/mod apparently).
70€ (10 Kg of package)

750€ --> ~1035$CAN
70€----> ~96$CAN for ~3 chassis shipped.

I wanted this stock, contacted the company about getting one for a tikka long action..... that was months ago. Have not heard anything, i did substantial research on this stock and everything ive gathered is the customer service is pretty non existent, they are really nice and id love to buy one though

Have a look at this one,,, and you get to support a Canadian company, if the tikka long action ever hits the shelfs il be buying one.
One thing I don't like about the MDT chassis is the length of pull is 14.5-15.5", why would they make it so long? Also if you look at the picture on their website of the rifle in the chassis with the NF scope notice how the forend is "drooping" away from the barrel? It looks horrible.

I seem to recall reading the LOP was a typo but I could be wrong...
As for the drooping I think it's more of an optical illusion / camera angle- the stock looks flat as a board across the top, I think it's the taper of the barrel shank that amplifies the tapered look.
The embossed screw holes and side rail mounting ovals to me are the more unattractive aspects of it (I'm hoping black will minimize the look).
I didn't think KSG did the long action T3's?

KRG makes a great looking chassis for T3 ( the budget X-Ray or the more expensive Whiskey 3 )

I have a KRG folding stock on my TRG42....the machining and attention to detail is outstanding !

I have seen their stuff and it is really nice, they don't make a chassis for a long action tikka though :(

That LOP was given to me by Maarten Van Ruitenburg from MDT via email conversation. Not a mistake but definitely odd.

:pCorlane sporting goods buddy......
If anyone is wondering they quoted me $899 for a KRG X-Ray for the T3 a month ago. Rich @ Spartan has been very difficult to deal with, they also sell KRG supposedly. Who knows, he hasn't been answering emails or phone calls. Been in contact with him periodically for over a year and still not getting anywhere with getting one from him either.

Ok thanks, I just did a little more searching on their cs and they are unreliable. Too bad.

I just received an email from Roedale answering my questions within a week. I'm wondering if I should go forward buying from them, Germany is far if the shtf but a AICS for Tika T3 would be bad a$$.
