So I just got my new T3 Varminter HB and realized that the barrel and action are constructed of one solid piece. So I guess this helps in accuracy but once you shoot out the barrel she's toast? Just throw away the action and barrel ?

If it was one piece it would be 2 to 3 times the price. The only firearms I am aware of where the barrel is integral to the receiver are revolvers and some really old semi-auto pistols like the C96.

Ha Ha, it looked like one piece , I've only recently started to notice these things, the only other gun that I could compare it to was a rem 700. But now I've been schooled... But it is possible though.

Ok, I admit I thought it was a one piece solid barrel and action. And I thought , ok this gotta be good for accuracy but as I said to my buddy " do you just throw away the barrel and action when it's shot out, and keep the plastic stock. LOL. I was kinda like ,WTF. Gotta say though, this is a very nice rifle .:)

I was talking to a local gunsmith near me and he hates working on Tikkas as the barrel into action fit is so tight that it is almost impossible to remove the factory barrel.
