Tikka T3 Barrels

Hi,
I have been told that the method of attaching the barrel to the receiver on a Tikka T3 is by the use of tapered thread and that replacement barrels cannot be fitted to the T3.
Is this true?

I've heard it's EASY to replace Tikka barrels. Try sending a PM to guntech. I think he's worked on some before.

A tapered thread? I can see the nightmares that would cause.
Just ask corben1 what a 45 degree shouldered receiver does for re-barreling.
