Tikka T3 battue in 308

My new Battue arrived today, this is going to make for a great dogging rifle. Such a light and well balanced rifle.

That's the one thing that sold me on this rifle, it's super light compared to my other 308's and the sights work very well. I was thinking about putting on a scope but I might just leave it as is.
 
I just received my Battue in the 30-06 last week. Nice and light and this rifle will work out well for hunting deer under heavy cover. Looking forward to reloading some rounds...

That's exactly what I will be using it for. I think I am going to play with the iron sights and if im accurate with them out to 50 yards thats all I will use when dogging with the hounds. My MaSi QD mount just arrived today so it will be nice and easy to mount the scope when im sitting in the morning and evening then just remove it when im dogging.
