Tikka t3 Forest

I had one customer with a Hunter Walnut Stock that didn't shoot right. Turned out the thread for the suppressor was cut crooked by local billy-bob. I bedded the rifle anyway and he fitted a suppressor with a bigger hole, he is happy since. I think just about any wood stock will benefit from an epoxy bedding and make sure she is well free floating. Rather 1mm than paper of 0.1mm.

I have a Tikka T3 with a forest stock on it, had it for just over a year now, so far so good with no complaints from me about it.

Friend just picked one up, the stock fits really nicely to your palm with its swell and has a nice rolled cheek piece.
Overall it is just a tikka though, it's light and pointy, smooth enough bolt and pretty good trigger, but just feels cheap compared to his CZ550.

I have had two, still have one, I prefer stocks like this with a raised cheek piece, similar fit to a Boyd's Prairie Hunter, fairly dull plain finish like the Hunter. My favourite Tikka stock.
