Tikka T3 Hunter Stainless

Local dealer here in NB just informed me that to make the Hunter Stainless they just swap the barrel and reciever off another one and put it in the Wooden stock.
Is there not such a thing as a Hunter Stainless straight from factory(Tikka's website makes it look like there is)

I think you are correct Wonksy with Tikka's coming from factory in this configuration. I've personally seen one (30-06) at Epps on the rack. I think your dealer might be

There definitely is a factory-configured Hunter Stainless; however, they're definitely not commonly available in North America. Epps is the only dealer that I've seen carry them --- they had quite a few about 18 mos ago for $749 --- I wish I'd picked one up.

Good day wonsky, Better buy also said they would do the swap for me.
My local dealer has them (b.c.) Van Isl. Last time I was there a few months ago. I had the chance to handle the rifle! I really liked how it felt in my hands, light (obviously) the action felt smooth, but the price was a tad high, if you got the mula I suggest getting one!
