Tikka t3 in 9.3x62

What do you like better in the Sauer ?
The stock fits much better and the synthetic stock seems more stable and less hollow than the tikka. Now the laminate tikka would change that felling and sound. Comparing my Sauer to many tikkas the Sauer has a better trigger. Nothing wrong with a tikka gun wise. I'd have no issue owning one if I were to put it in a chassis that adjusts to me.
I also find the tikkas to recoil harder than others of the same cartridge. That is likely due to the stock not fitting perfectly and tikkas can be fairly light weight. I'm not recoil sensitive at all but a t3 light in 300 or 338 really slap my cheek bone
Also at 799 the Sauer is a great deal. I'm not sure why other places have them for 12 to 1500 and yet others 22 to 2400
Prophet must have gotten a deal and passed it on to us. Could have been a change in distribution centers or wholesalers I'm not sure

My Sauer has an adjustable trigger but I find it excellent out of the box so I'll likely leave it as is

I have never had a 9.3 as they are regarded a restricted firearm where we live (300wm for example is no issue). I do think the original T3 or T3x lite stock is not great for the recoil. A well made composite stock which is similar weight to the Lite plastic stock will however make the rifle much more comfortable to shoot.

Rep Ireland, up to around 1992 all deer where shot with 22cal as in 5.6x57 or 22-250 as that was max rifle bore allowed. Now 30cal is max as an unrestricted rifle. Even say a 338LM necked down to 30 cal is fine. 8x57 is a restricted cartridge/rifle. Government knows what is best.....
Largest game we have are Red Deer. We can apply for large cal or restricted rifle however it means increase in house security and might still not be granted.

I presume in the earlier days just any soft point. Some are using 55gr V-Max to this day and swear by them. Many hunters became very good at neck shooting. I chest shot 3 Sika with Nosler 52gr Custom Match. They went down like a puppet with the strings cut. Longest was 180m. Didn't want to push my luck and changed the rifle.
