Tikka T3 Lite Recoil

Suck it up! You want a light weight gun in a big magnum calibre - you pay the price. A decelerator pad helps. Most difficult is shooting from the bench - throw a towel under your jacket so no one sees it and you don't end up looking like a sissy! I love my Tikka 300 WSM. Booyah, it bucks! Enjoy the pain... :(

What's a 'limb saver', who makes it, how much and does a gunsmith need to install? I love my Tikka 300 WSM but from the bench it does buck like horse! A muzzlebrake is good for the bench too but I would put a removable one on to take off for hunting otherwise is very loud. When hunting - recoil? What recoil?

"Limb Saver" is a recoil pad made by Sims Vibration Laboratory. Part # 10011 is the model for the T-3, and no, you can exchange recoil pads yourself with a screw driver. No gunsmith needed! Pachmayr also makes a premium pad called the Decelerator. This type of pad really makes a difference.
