I have clips in a couple of rifles and always top feed them, my son's Tikka 695 after a stalk, you have to take the clip out to reload, almost a certainty that at 17 year old with loose it sooner or later. Last fall he left it in our hotel room in the morning, I loaned him my Sako instead.
The real downside of this is he now wants a Sako.
