tikka t3 oem replacement stock

Does anyone in Canada carry Tikka T3 oem replacement stocks? I have a left hand stainless synthetic T3 and would like to replace it with the T3 Hunter walnut stock. I like the wood and stainless. I am also assuming the stocks would be the same, as long as its the same caliber etc, is this correct?
Are there any aftermarket wood replacement stocks? I cant find anything recent. nothing on ebay. an old thread on 24 hour campfire.

You have a couple of alternative options too. The issue of the recoil lug in Tikka is why getting after market stocks is a pain. The lug is embedded in the stock and fits in a notch at the bottom of the action. The fix for this is to have a conventional recoil lug installed on the the lunction of the barrel and the action ala Remington, in which case it can be bedded into almost any wooden stock.

It requires the services of a gunsmith, but a Boyd's stock ar Richard's Microfit will work if you can have it inletted and bedded to your new modified action
