Both are good but the brownibg is a smart choice as slick as goosd a trigger you do have to lighten the pull though, and just as accurate with hand loads
My 308 is in th .5 to .7 @ 100 yards consistantly.
Going to stretch it out to 300-400 yards at the farm this weekend to see what she'll do. will keep you posted.

I would have to go with the A-bolt. Totally based on looks. I believe both rifles to be of good quality however I can not get over the goofy looks of the Tikka's. The A-bolt to me is what a rifle should look like, and they shoot.

I do not own a TIKKA...and I know a few people who own them and love their guns. I have a few Browning A-bolts and love them...NO Plastic anywhere on the A-Bolt and the fit and finnish is excellent. Mine all shoot very well.

ABOLT all the way. Thats all I shoot for bolt rifles and love them! The Gold Medallion is a gorgeous rifle, solid and classy in every way.

Tuff call but on my shooting experience you NEVER get a bad Tikka, my experience with the Browning is limited... Tikka for me. JP.
