tikka T3 owner, I need your help.

can you tell me the width of the grooved rail on the action? I have a set of rings for 11mm groove just wondering if it will fit the soon arriving T3 ss.

No they won't. Those would be the "22" style rings you have. You either need to get yourself bases and weaver rings, millet rings or sako rings. Unless you have a super varmint or tactical on order, than they come with a picatinny rail.

Get a set of the Optilocks R & B and you are good to go. Great set up. its all I use onmy Sako and Tikka T3 rifles. Cost more but worth it in my books.

Talley lightweights are better than Optiloks IMO. Lighter, just as strong, and cost 1/3 the price. They screw down to the top of the action
