i have had a t3 lite in 7mm-08 for 3 years, love the rifle.and yes i can get a MOA(just) with factory rounds(federal fusion, and 3x9x40 rifelman).the only thing that is makeing me a little un easy is the recoil lug on this.i have had no problem on itbut.will the little aluminum block that fits in to a slot on the bottom of the action going to hold up....

I'm not sure how long they "hold up" ....had a couple of Tikka's which I put a few hundred rounds through and did not notice any "wear". I was able to improve accuracy a bit by tightening up the lug in the slot by inserting an aluminum shim (cut from a pop can).

It is a little cheesy but mine fits well to the action and mates good with the stock. It is the biggest thing the Tika winners SHOULD be complaining about but you never hear about it, mostly because they are uninformed (stupid), and only know about the plastic trigger guard and mag, which to them makes the rifle "uniquely cheep"......never mind the whole bedding system is the most unique part.

I have hundreds of rounds through my T3 SS HB Varmint in 6.5X55, with hot loads, it's still grouping as good as it uses to. I could easily have change it for a Titanium piece, but I wanted to give it a try. The fit is still very tight, no engraving, not loose in the stock nor in the receiver groove.
I think unless you shoot hard recoiling caliber with loose action bolts, the lug will outlast your use of the rifle.

Gotta disagree with Sir Bartell on this one - rare to find one that's NOT properly fitted, easy enough to check, but I've never had a problem with lug wear. You'll burn out the barrel a couple of times before it ever enters the equation....
