Tikka T3 scope rings?

Do T3's come with scope rings? A co-worker mentioned he was considering a T3 and wanted to know if they came with rings, as apparently some do depending on location.

Warne and Talley were going to be my recommendations but if it comes with rings, even junkers, I'm sure they'll handle the POWAH of a .223.

As far as I know, the only T-3s that came with scope rings were sold in the US and they came with Millet Rings, which were by most reports that I've heard crap. I have seen some package deals in Canada that come with the rings and scope though, but I suppose that is up to the dealer to put together.

That's probably where he's getting his information from, off of American sites. I've seen those packages too, lots including a Burris Fullfield II mounted and ready to rock (I like it for a budget scope, good unit) but he's pretty cheap and will probably put the cheapest scope into the cheapest rings they've got. I'm actually confused why he's buying a T3 over a Savage Axis since he's such a cheap ass.

burris bases and rings are fairly inexpensive, I have them on an older Tikka.........a lot better than those chintzy Millet things.

I have the Sako/Tikka Optilocks on my Sako m75 and Tikka T3 rifles....rock solid. More $$$ but worth it in my books.

I use Warne rings on all 4 of my Tikka T3's. Rock solid and not too expensive.
