I recently changed my Tikka T3 stock fron the factory black synthetic to an aftermarket grey laminate stock from GUNWORX.
It took 2 minutes to change over and I was ready to go.
What a difference, when I bought the Tikka several years ago, a laminate stock was not an option. I Did not have the cash to replace the gun so this was an acceptable compromise.

Anybody interested in a synthetic stock for a Tikka T3 300 WinMag?

I waited the extra year from 2004 till 2005 so I could get a couple in the T3 laminate stainless after Iread it in a hunting magazine. I do not care for the T3 synthetic. After you own a few Sako m75ss, the stock of a T3 is no comparision. PLUS Sako didnt have their Greywolf out yet either.

can you put a link up to the gunworkx website and the stock you got? I'm interested

Monte Carlo - the standard stock is the same price.

With exchange, shipping all in $415.00 CDN

The fact it came with a limb saver recoil pad is a bonus.

That stock is 48oz.

I can understand not liking the factory synthetic, but don't see the point in taking a light rifle and making it a club. I have a McMillan coming that will be 30oz and was only $60 more...

Ya no kidding. I got a quote from these clowns, US$389 + 30$ shipping and 60 day turn around time. WTF, over 400$ for a laminate stock? Laminates usually cost around 100$ or so. These guys are crazy.
