You may want to shoulder one first before committing to a wood stock. I'm pretty tall (6'4") and have very long arms (35" to 36" sleeve length, brand dependent), I have the T3 22-250 in wood (Hunter version), and it fit pretty well right from the box. It's my 'yote and gopher gun, so with lots of snow, laying on the ground possibly wet with dew or rain, there are many chances to get it damp if not outright wet, I was orienting towards the Tupperware stock, but found the length of pull significantly different from the wood stock Hunter version, much shorter than the wood. So, rather than buy the synthetic and have to spend more $ I just ordered the T3 in wood, and am quite happy with it.
Sort of the opposite to what you were asking, but still relevant - check the fit before you buy. If you're not overly tall or with long reach arms, you may have to mod the wood butt area by cutting it back or it'll be a stretch.
