Has anyone spent the extra money to change the stock on a Tikka T3 Lite, I am considering a Bell Carlson Medalist. If anyone has how much weight did it add and was there any change in accuracy for the money?
Never dd my self but would consider it on a Sako m75 project rifle I want want to build. Seen on MacMillans website they had a Tikka T3 in a Sako m75 Hunter stock in their specials.
My favourite is a Roberston stock on a Tikka, but I think their out of business. I did try a bell and Carlson but didn't like it, felt too chunky for me. Good Luck
I am a fan of the bell and carlson on my T3. I really like that it has a full length aluminium bedding block. The recoil lug seems stronger on the B&C then the factory lite stock. Free floats now also which it didnt in its factory configuration.
If you are on a budget get the B&C but if you can afford the extra $ get a McMillan. I bought a 270wsm and a 300wsm this year and they are both in McMillan stocks and they are awesome. But I did not have to wait 8 months to see year to get mine. The B&C stocks you could walk into Corlanes or prophet river and leave the same day with one. I've had a B&C on a previous t3 and it was alright but was not in the same league as the McMillan.
