Tikka t3 stock

The benefit of the B&C stock is its rigidity. It's much stiffer and more solid than the original plastic, and under field conditions...shooting off various field-expedient rests, off bipods, from kneeling and semi-supported positions, perhaps leaning into the rifle to a greater or lesser degree than you would when shooting from a bench...you will find that the more rigid stock will flex much less, and will be much less likely to apply uneven pressure to the barrel that could affect accuracy or POI.

In theory I agree with you but Im my own experience of hunting I saw no difference, everyone's mileage may be different. Maybe I got extra rigid plastic in my 5 Tikkas.

Cheers!!

Functional upgrade is not simply measured as an improvement in accuracy. I put my T3 compact in a McMillan Edge stock and it may not shoot any better but it's a much lighter, stiffer, grippier, better fitting/handling gun than it was before and that all adds up to additional functionality in my books.

I have no use for AICS mags, I like the lightweight Tikka mags but I couldn't stand the factory plastic stock.

Did the Mcmillan Edge thing last season for coyotes..didn't impress me any more then most factory stocks. Sold the rifle here on cgn a few weeks back. If I need to have a few ounces less weight I will work out a little harder at the gym. To each there own. A B&C will do everything an Edge will do at a fraction of the price.

I've had both Bell & Carlson and Manners stocks on a cpl different T3's now.. I prefer the latter because of a lil bigger palm swell and the way it fits my hand! Some viable options for you to check into..
