Tikka T3 Tac - Mags

Hey Guys,

I just picked up a 20" Tikka T3 Tactical in .308. I was hoping to pick up a number of five round mags for the rifle but P&D here in AB is charging $115.00 per mag, which is outrageous, and the best I can find in Canada so far is Wanstalls in BC for $95.00, though the guy there is telling me to look around because he feels that is a bit much.

Any ideas of places to get mags at reasonable price?

I agree $100+ for a magazine- especially one made of plastic- is ridiculous. Nevertheless, magazines all tend to be expensive. Look at HS Precision mags. AICS are not much cheaper, even though they are very popular. They are made of metal at least...

So don't get too Frustrated. You're not alone.

You could always replace it with a Floorplate :p
 
I dont understand why people allways rip the plastic mag on the t3 when some of the so called metal mags are so cheapley made that you can bend them by pushing on them hard between your thumb and forefinger
 
I'm not commenting on whether they are better or worse, but I would think it a lot cheaper to manufacture a plastic magazine versus a metal one. This should be reflected in the price, which it isn't!
 
i paid $90 for a mag that holds 6 rds about 4 years ago. no not cheap. well made? i have had zero problems, and would like to drive a truck over them, just to see if peoples claims are valid. mythbusters? :D
