From what I have seen, it seems that most people are building their target/tactical/precision rifles out of Remington 700's. Buy a descent one and it shoots great out of the box. Spend $1000+ on it in upgrading and you have yourself a pretty mean rifle that will shoot better than I can anyway. Does anyone have any experience with the Tikka T3 Tactical. I like the look of it but have never heard much about how they shoot. Are they comparable to the 700's? What would need to be done to a T3 to make it really perform....Or are they junk and I should give up and buy a 700.
I know that quality of scope and abuility to find a load that the gun likes plays a huge role...I'm talking about all that kind of stuff aside.
