After having a nightmare with a Remington LVSF in .204 the dealer I purchsed the rifle from exchanged it for this Tikka T3 Varmint and I couldnt be more happy. Finally a rifle with a fantastic trigger, an extractor and ejector that function flawlesly and best thing the rifle is an absolute "tackdriver" spitting 32 gr. bullets around 4000 fps
These are a couple of test target with some intial loads, groups in the .3's and .4's The rifle is yet to be broken in and have my new Redding Comp dies so Im hoping for better.
Id also like to say that this Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 is an amazing scope that is just as clear as my previous Mark 4. Scopes fit and finish are excellent and will definetly buy more Vortex's. They even come with a better warranty then Leupold to boot.
No need for a high priced custom built varmint rig now :D

Tikka T3 Varmint
cal. 204 Ruger
Vortex Viper 6-18x44

*Im not sure how to properly measure groups but took the farthest edges??

OK nice gun but that garbage written under it is the most retarded thing I 've read in a long time. If you watch how John Fitch owned alves then watch how St. Pierre owned Fitch you will clearly see why Alves is not going to win. His standup is awesome but it will be useless from his back. This is CANADIANgunnutz, how can you cheer for an amerizilian import?

Just for the record those are some sicko groups from the new tikka. The really cool part is those are just the FIRST handloads. That unit should be consistently in the .3's. Nice to hear a good review on the vortex scopes.

Feel free to PM me with some gloating if Alves pulls off a miracle. HAHA

Since Alves loss to Fitch he has beaten every opponent in a more convincing fashion then St. Pierre has beaten his. Watch the Kos vs Pierre then the Kos vs Alves or Hughes vs Pierre and then Hughes vs Alves...gonna be some upset Canadians soon :D LOL St.Pierre has a weak chin :runaway: :D :D

Cheers!!
