Bushnell TRS25 works well too. I've got one on a 375 ruger. It hasn't #### the bed yet. Battery life isn't as long as my aimpoint micro dot though.

Was thinking this rds would be a good match for my rem 760 30-06 carbine for close range timber hunting.Nice looking set up what kind of range are shooting whith it?

It's for close range but at the gun range I have shot with red dots out to 300m on gongs. For animals I'd say you'd be good to 200m with a red dot and practice.

Even a giant 4 moa dot will keep you in the vitals on big game @ 200.

Most quality dots are 1,2 or 3 moa these days.

I also use the TRS-25 and have found it to be fairly accurate, if it stands up to the 375 what more could you ask for in that price range.
