Tikka T3 x magazine question

Does anyone know where I can get a metal magazine for this? As opposed to the plastic one it comes with.( 7mm)

Why change?

Ive had a t3 for 3 seasons in northern AB and the plastic mag has been fine!

A fellow in Austrailia makes metal mags fot the tikka. I was going to order some 10 rounders for my 7-08 years back but never got around to it.

or install ctr stuff on. i did that on my 243 varmint. ctr stock, long bolt stop and ctr stock.

Mountain Tactical makes billet aluminum T3/T3x magazines in short action, long action and WSM

Waters now makes metal magazines for the long actions, including the 7mmremmag.

I just put in atlasworx bottom metal for the acis mags.

I have not had any issues with the plastic factory magazines

I have been running my plastic Tikka magazines since 2008 in rain/snow/sleet/cold/warm weather. Never an issue.

Sure if you change your bolt stop to the long throw one ! and the FACTORY ones do too ! RJ

It would be nice to be able to change the spring in the plastic mag, one of mine is getting sloppy

i wasn't crazy about it being a plastic magazine at first. But like others have attested - it's never let me down and the smooth belly profile is important to me. and gun #### because why not?
