Oh well, now you've ruined it for all the Tikka sellers on the EE.What I'm saying is the t3 is Europe's budget rifle. I have handled a few tikkas and I'm not overly impressed with them. .
I think Zastava is the right comparator for a Savage Axis
If the tikka is so good, why are there literally dozens for sale here ? Much more than anything else I searched
I know what you mean but I would not call it a budget rifle but an entry level rifle. Since Sako bought Tikka, higher end is Sako while Tikka is more the entry level. Pretty much everything made in Europe is quality made. As for Axis accuracy, some of them shoots pretty well. That been said, accuracy and quality is 2 different things. I had a Savage 10 FCP-K, which is a bit better than Axis and boy this thing can shoot, maybe had the same accuracy of rifles that cost 2 or 3 times the price of a Savage 10. But now I prefer more quality rifles. If i ever buy another Savage centerfire, it will be their Target/Single shot model 12, I will not go lower than that. Personally, I don't understand people that buy Savage Axis or Remington 783 instead of, lets say an older Parker Hale 1200 or a Huskvarna but that's just my opinion.
I know this will more than likely upset a few fans... but, I feel like the t3 is the European savage axis. Am I the only one who feels this way ?
I'm not saying the axis is as good as the t3. I'm saying the t3 is Europe's budget rifle. Although I have seen some pretty impressive groups from a friend's .223 axis
It doesn't upset me at all.
You being blatantly wrong is somewhat entertaining. Upsetting would be if you took my T3's and left any savage, of any kind, in it's place.
at least my savage cycles and chambers the way it should.... regardless of which ammunition is used.
I think a Swiffer Wet Jet is a better comparator for a Savage period..
