I have a Tikka T3 in 22-250 stainless synthetic on order and am looking at some options for the stock. I have tossed the idea around of painting or coating the stock. Any ideas/pictures?

Good idea!! I can't stand the plain black plastic stock myself but a colored one just might do the trick. I'm sure theres pics out there, just not any from me. I opted for the laminate/stainless instead. Much better looking as well as feel.

I'm interested in the idea if you are able to find someone who makes custom stocks for Tikka's. Please let me know if you find out any info.

Robertson Composites makes stocks for them. If you paint it use Krylon Fusion. It is really the only paint that sticks well enough. For what it's worth that really is one of the best tupperware stocks going. Stiff, strong and stable. Compare it to an SPS rem stock..... really no comparison. I have never owned a tikka but many of my friends have and I have shot them all. I am going to buy one in 25-06 for sheep this fall.

Liner paint

If you use the stuff used for truck liners your going to add anywhere from 1/8" to 1/4" to your stock dimensions. Bed liners are ment to be thick to absorb noise, adhere to the truck bed and help prevent some dings and dents to the bed. Most liners are usually 1/2" on the acutal bed and less on the sides.

On the plus side it would make your stock very sticky to hold in bad weather.
