Is it a good gun am thinking of getting one. in 270 for deer basically.

i was looking at one aswell and from all the reaserch ive done i have heard they are great. very accurate and light. the bigger ones have a good sholder kick, but in a 270 it should be good. assuming you are talking about the T3 Lite.
the trigger is crisp and the action is like silk. when the US doller was par they were $650ish, but now they are more like $900 so i am now looking used. too rich for my blood... not they arnt worth that, but its just out of my price range now.

I have one in 308. I'd say pick one up, handle it. See if you like the look and feel in person. Try the bolt and trigger. Note the small ejection port. Hard to load a single cartridge, if that's any concern to you. Not a concern to me. If you are comfortable with the plastic mag and bolt shroud, neither of which have been a problem with my gun, then you should strongly consider getting one. Its light, accurate and has an awesome trigger and bolt. Downside, not everyone likes the plastic or style. Also note the price of the factory scope mount and rings are around $150. You can go Leupold for less than half that.

I've heard lots of good things about the T3s. I've handled one and really liked the fit and finish.
the 270 is a popular hunting round and I know many who hunt with that calibre.
I'd consider asking around in the hunting forum as I think it pertains more to what you are looking for

The T-3s are great, I own a bunch of them, I have never had an issue and put a few through hell and back.
The accuracy is fantastic for a factory do nothing out of the box gun, trigger is better than most in the same class, if you by a T-3 lite they are what they say to carry very lite. The gun in a nut shell is good, if thats what your asking, some guys do not like the look of them, but not relivant to teh funtonability of this firearm and is not valid for the 0.02 cents of the opinion, personal vs funtion just does not count
I do not like the .277 projectile my self again personal, as I mean to say its not my #1 pick, but ! understand some caliber restricions could apply in your area.
