Hello everyone. I just ordered a Tikka T3 Lite in .243 Win and was wondering if you guys could recommend some good scope rings? I just want to use the integral rails. I'll be putting a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 on the gun. Thanks very much.

I use Sako rings on my .270 WSM T3 Lite.

Hi jperos

I urge you to examine that T3 barrel before you take it home. I bought a brand new T3 in February 2010 and just shot it for the first time on Friday. The bluing sucks, I noticed it the first time the other day when I got back from the range, and is only visible directly under a good light. I will be returning it to my dealer later this week for warranty. I have firearms that are almost 40 years old and the T3 is the newest in my collection. The T3's bluing looks like it is the oldest of all my firearms.

See my post, "Tikka" love em or Hate em!

I have a T3 stainless and use the Optilock bases and rings. One of my favorite rifles and is always accurate. Haven't had to touch the scope adjustments since the first day I sighted it in...about 5 years ago! It's wearing a Zeiss scope and the combo is fantastic.

I'd spend the extra few bucks on the optilocks if it were me.

Thanks but I bought the stainless model. I ended up ordering some Warne rings from Brownells. Thanks to everyone who replied.
