They should get with the times and just make 8 twist standard for the 22-250. They’re already tooled up for it, and it doesn’t hurt their performance with light bullets.

I heard they’re bringing out a 6.5 prc as well? Have you heard anything about that from stoeger?

Definitely looks like there is a market for a fast twist 22-250, people do want to be able to use the heavier bullets in them.

The Superlite model would be a bonus. As would 22CM w/ 1-7 RoT.

Texans like the 1-8 twist 22-250 for deer. As well there is a 6mm x .224 wildcat used with the 60gr Partition.

I have a 1:9 on my 22-250 and it loves 75gr HPBT and 70gr Accubonds.

They need to do something similar with the 243 with an extended mag for seating out in that long action.

M+ not really needed, in my 22cm the longest OAL I run is 2.75" and the 22-250 will be shorter

Good point and info. Is your 22CM 1-7? What's the round count now?

I run the M+ in my 22cm just because I can. 7 twist IBI barrel, round count is around 500
