Tikka T3x Battue

Thanks guys, got my T3 Lite Battue in .308 yesterday and it's a real beauty! Please see my sight adjustment post above and answer if you have a Battue. Thanks

Congrats. Give the barrel a good cleaning and with the Tikka barrels that is all that is needed from you. After that just shoot and enjoy and keep a regular barrel cleaning regiment.

Aside from my custom handloads the Federal 150 and 180gr PowerShok blue box ammo gave me the MOA accuracy at 100yards.

Wasn't going to pay retail price for a synthetic compact stock and nothing coming on EE I ended up removing 1/2" from the butt and the rifle shoulders really nice for me now. The stock LOP was 1/2" to long for me.

Enjoy your new rifle!

IIRC all the info you need in regards to sight adjustment is in the manual that came with your rifle. It's been a while since I looked at it but if memory serves me right, you can adjust the rear sight for elevation only. If windage needs to adjusted, then that is to do with the front sight and is something you have to send your gun into Stoeger to correct, as it should be just fine out of the box.

In addition to DG response I found my sight was perfect out 80 yards with either 150 or 180gr Federal blue box ammo. I put the FO POA where I want POI.

At 80 yards the FO covers an 8" paper plate.

Scratch my previous Post I just took a good look at the sight and noticed that there are infact 2 screws in the top. I am assuming the top one is what holds the sight on and the bottom is the adjustment? Tighten or loosten the screw that is way down in the bottom hole for height adjustment? How do you do windage?

Read the manual that came with it. It tells you how to adjust. Mine s factory set at 100. Pretty dead on.
