Tikka T3x reviews anyone?

All I know is that every Tikka T3 that I have ever owned or shot all shot very very well, had very smooth & slick actions, very nice triggers and fit me as if they were custom made for me.

Good explanation. Says something when a major reason to celebrate is them no longer using a .10 cent bolt shroud but moving up to .15.
Now about them still using "plastic" trigger guards? One size fits all, except when they don't actions? They definitely are a marketing machine when it comes to accessories and "customizing", if thats the right word, your rifle tho. Having an orange/green/camo pistol grip or forestock, etc is a huge plus I guess.

Truth be known I've owned or own 4 newer generation T3/x, 1 currently, and recognize what they are and where they fit vs other manufacturers offerings, as well as their foibles. They pretty much all shoot well yes but one thing you'll never hear from any Tikka owner that's been around a while and owned other versions of is, "man are these ever a lot nicer than a 595/695, 658, 55/65, etc.

In the $1000 area they may be the best value for the $$, although Weatherby might have a solid case, but spending $1500-2000 for one because it has a camo pattern stock or fluted barrel? Silliness.

Lots of manufacturers use "metallic" bolt shrouds then? How about those trigger guards? Metallic as well? I always get a kick out of the term "bottom metal" in the sales ads.

I'm responding to you repeatedly and incorrectly stating that the T3X metal shroud is not metal. Drink that cup of coffee, man...
 
I have the t3 tactical model, before the t3x ctr, but realistically it's the same. Had it since 2017 I think. Gun shoots about half inch with gold medal match. Just a great rifle honeslty, smooth as silk and breaks like glass
 
Owned a few tikkas, all of them were accurate and reliable. Primary hunting rifle is a tikka in a ctr stock. You cannot beat it in the price range, Brownings are probably close.
