Tikka T3x Superlite

I have a superlite in 300 win mag. It kicks but a limbsaver pad helps . Here it is along side it's big brother a Sako 75 in 300 WM also. The Tikka is considerably lighter than the Sako.

How come the flutes end like 4”from the end of the barrel in your tikka? Is that a bell and Carlson stock? Aren’t they heavier (but stiffer) than the factory stock? See the pics of mine before and after dip above.

Don't know why the difference unless it has to do with caliber. The Tikka website says the barrels are various lengths. The stock is factory, just spruced up a little. The magnums barrels are 2.2 in longer , they must keep the flutes the same.

Yes custom stock regardless....where have you seen these for sale.

Bell & Carlson stocks from Prophet River in AB. They import and sell them here in Canada.
My son and I both bought ours from Corlane Sporting Goods in Dawson Creek, BC.. Drop-in fit but skim bedded them. Very good accuracy in my 7mm Rem Mag as well as my son's Tikka in 300WSM. Full aluminum bedding block, great shape, NO Flex.
