Must be several of them out there now . I'd be interested in a review from anyone who has one . I'm thinking about buying a .308 so that would be of particular interest to me at this time but i'd like to hear all about the 6.5 Creedmores also . One question , the muzzle , is it metric threads for the brake or will any standard brake thread on ? OK guys , pics and reviews please .

Just picked up one in 6.5 Creedmore but have yet to get it out. I know for a fact though that the muzzle threads are 5/8x24 because I replaced the factory muzzle brake with an APA Little Bastard I had been saving for it and is went on without any issues.

Does the Canadian one come with the same as the US? Three mags, muzzle brake, etc

Muzzle brake yes, appears based on descriptions for Canuck sellers, 1 mag. Seems US says 2, with promo for free 3rd right now.

I know IRG just posted this rifle yesterday for $1798USD to Canadians......not sure about mags?

I only ask because when you consider the barrelled actions are the same as the CTR you have to ask is the chassis, mags, muzzle break and trigger worth twice the price tag? Or is getting the CTR, a krg X-ray and a yodave spring a better product? I've seen amazing reviews, so I'm leaning toward the tac a1... but if it doesn't come with the value added it's a harder sell

I brought one in .308, November 2017. Only came with a single Magazine. No mail-in options for an additional one, like US customers.

I have one in 6.5 CM, however I only had it to the range once. It was shooting .75" to 1" in heavy wind at Edson, AB with Hornady 140 ELD's factory, but I was focusing on barrel break in (I know, voodoo, not required for a cold hammer forged barrel, but did it anyway) and dope. I would consistently get 4 rounds touching at 100M, but then I'd always throw one to make a .75-1" group. I have had two previous CTR's and TRG 22 before, all in .308, so we'll see how the accuracy is moving forward. I would have bought a TRG 22 in 6.5CM if the budget allowed, but I will settle for this, while I get used to 6.5CM. I am also interested in any other reviews especially with other ammo types. I ended up getting a 20 MOA Badger Ord unimount, as I could not get the 6.5 past 1200M with my NXS adjustment range, on a 0 MOA base. Have not tried the new mount out yet. As stated above, it came with one magazine and 5/8x24 thread pitch. I am running a Gen 2 Heathen on mine and it worked great.

I shot the TAC A1 6.5 this weekend (already put 60 rounds through) using both Winchester Match and Hornady ELD. Both grouped well at .6-.8 @100 yards with the occasional flyer(me). Very similar to my RPR enhances 6.5 which has a Timney trigger and Heathen brake. The usual fit and finish goes to the Tikka.

Thanks guys . A local dealer ordered a 24 inch .308 for me today . I listened to him on the phone with the importer and the importer has no more 6.5 Creedmores in stock and doesn't know when the next shipment will arrive but when they do they'll be going up in price . Anyone looking to buy one , buy now from who ever has them on the shelves to beat the price hike . Mine won't arrive until the first week in Janurary as the importer gives the employees Christmas off until after the new year .

Oh , the importer has one more .308 in stock but i'm not sure if it's a 20 or 24 inch barrel .

Any comments , reviews , your accuracy , your choice of optics , pics , anything regarding these rifles , post away as i'm sure it will be appreciated by all , especially me .

Is the 24 barrel threaded?
